Susan Briggs Watson, Ph.D. is an Associate Director of Bioethics at Eli Lilly and Company. She received a PhD in clinical psychology from Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis (IUPUI) and completed Georgetown University's Intensive Bioethics Course 38. She has worked in Lilly Bioethics for 12 years, developing company positions on bioethics topics, providing bioethics education and training for employees, and conducting internal bioethics consultations. Dr. Watson serves as a company subject matter expert for several bioethics topics including pediatric research, continued access to investigational medicines, scientific authorship, human biological samples, and employees as research participants.
