Ramona Walls, Ph.D. is Executive Director of Data Science at the non-profit Critical Path Institute (C-Path). She oversees multiple efforts including C-Path’s Data and Analytics Platform, development of a rare disease knowledge graph, and expansion and modernization of C-Path’s data integration pipeline to include AI methods. Before joining C-Path, Walls was a research professor in the Bio5 Institute of the University of Arizona, where her lab focused on ontology-based data integration and data sharing infrastructure. Walls has extensive experience in standards development, including serving on the Steering Committee of the Clinical Research Data Sharing Alliance.
